Hey!  I'm Jesús and I'm a photographer who, as I like to joke, loves working with people who won't sit still.  Among them, children and families.  Thanks for stopping by.

 

At heart, my passion is in storytelling.  And I love working with families and kids on private commissions because I find it gives me the chance to tell the document the stories of your lives, lived together--among the most meaningful work I do.

I've seen the power of photography in your lives as well as mine: in the joy and gratitude of my clients when I deliver their work; in the follow-up emails I get saying you parents can't stop looking at your kids' photos; in the delight my mom still takes in displaying the life-size portraits of my sister and me at 2 years old; in the tears and laughter I've shared with my family going through old photos of our parents and grandparents.

 

To give a bit of bio, I grew up in Kansas City, and split my time between New York, Boston and, increasingly, KC.  As my mom gets older, I try to visit her more and more.  Family time is so priceless.
